In this third book in the Lunar Chronicles, Cinder and Captain Thorne are fugitives on the run, now with Scarlet and Wolf in tow. Together, they’re plotting to overthrow Queen Levana and her army.
Their best hope lies with Cress, a girl imprisoned on a satellite since childhood who's only ever had her netscreens as company. All that screen time has made Cress an excellent hacker. Unfortunately, she’s just received orders from Levana to track down Cinder and her handsome accomplice.
When a daring rescue of Cress goes awry, the group is separated. Cress finally has her freedom, but it comes at a high price. Meanwhile, Queen Levana will let nothing prevent her marriage to Emperor Kai. Cress, Scarlet, and Cinder may not have signed up to save the world, but they may be the only hope the world has.

WHEN I First Read
I preordered the Kindle e-book of Cress, so I first started reading it the minute it was released and I was able to download it to my Kindle. I ended up staying up REALLY LATE reading it.
I remember LOVING the story. I remember thinking that the series just kept getting better and better and that Cress was my favorite so far. I remember loving that it included so many of the characters that I already knew and loved. Getting to know them better. Plus, more Thorne!!! And I really enjoyed Cress, she is a fun and interesting character.
I really wanted to reread Cress because I loved it and I hadn't reread it yet. Which made me really excited to reread it! Plus I needed to reread it to be ready for Winter!
Oh. My. Stars. SO HAPPY.
I definitely enjoyed and loved rereading this story.
I loved remembering how Cress is a romantic at heart and how sweet she is. I also loved how it reminded me just how ridiculously charming Thorne is!
And I had all the swoons while remembering how much I SHIP ALL THE SHIPS in this series!!!
Honestly, I feel that I was equally excited and happy reading Cress this time as I was the first time. Sure I remembered what happened, but it still gave me ALL THE FEELS. It was awesome. I love this series so much!
Of course! My love for this series is up there with Harry Potter and Throne of Glass. ALL TIME FAVORITES. I will definitely re-read this book again and again.
