***I received an e-galley of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review***

Oh. My. Goodness. I LOVED this book! I think that "This thriller YA is Scandal meets Veronica Mars" is 100% accurate. I have loved Veronica Mars for a very long time now (I was one of the many that was heartbroken when it was cancelled). I also enjoy watching Scandal. So as a fan of both shows, I agree that this book will appeal to those that like either or both shows. The Fixer is an amazing story full of mystery, politics, and shocking twists. This book is definitely a page turner, I could not pull myself away from the story. It grabbed me from the beginning and kept my attention the entire time!

Tess grew up on her grandfather's ranch. But after something happens Tess' estranged sister, Ivy,  shows up and makes her move back to D.C. with her. Not only does Tess have to start a new school, she has to attend a school that is made up of the children of the rich and powerful. And since Ivy is a fixer for the rich and powerful, Tess' new classmates think Tess can do the same for them. Tess gets thrown into a world full of secrets and conspiracy. The more she finds out the more complicated things get. Will Tess be able to figure out what is happening?

The Fixer is a very well-written story. Smart, witty, and has great characters. I really loved Tess and Ivy. They have their issues and a strained relationship, but I really enjoyed their interactions and development throughout the story. I also think they are both smart, strong, and brave. I also really liked Asher. He made me laugh a lot. I really think the main characters in this book are awesome and it was very easy for me to care about them.

My Recommendation:

READ THIS BOOK!!!! I absolutely loved reading it. I read it quickly and had a hard time putting the book down. The story is wonderfully written and has mystery, politics, and is full of twists. I loved the main characters and I can't wait to read the next one and see what else happens. The Fixer is definitely one of my favorite reads this year! If you enjoy Veronica Mars, Scandal, mysteries, or political thrillers, I think this book should be a must read!
