Let's Celebrate: It's Time For The Holidays & My Birthday! (With Giveaway)

I love this time of year!
The weather starts to cool off.
Then we have the holidays.
My birthday, Thanksgiving, Pooh Bear's birthday, Christmas, New Years, then Cutie Pie's birthday. We usually have a full few months. But I really love it!
I LOVE Thanksgiving! In fact, I don't really do anything Christmas-related until after Thanksgiving. Decorating, listening to Christmas music, watching Christmas movies, etc.

I love getting to spend time with family and friends. Turkey. Pie. Potatoes and gravy. Yum!
And this year cake too.

That's right. My birthday is this week.
I already got an early birthday present, which really surprised me and was fun.
There was secret planning involved.
So, when I met My Guy, I met his best friend's Mom first. He spent a lot of his time and the holidays over at his friend's Mom's house. And so she is like family to us. We'll call her Ms. A.
Well, Ms. A decided since my birthday is on Thanksgiving this year, she wanted me to have a night to celebrate just my bday. So she called my friends and arranged for my BFF to come into town and take me to the movies. SO SWEET! And boy was I surprised! I don't usually get that many surprises myself, usually I am the one that is always trying to plan the surprises for others.
We went and saw Mockingjay Part 1, Friday night. And I had a lot of fun.

I am just so grateful for everyone in my life! Family, friends, and all of you.

And since I am so excited for my birthday, Thanksgiving and Christmas, I have decided to have a giveaway to celebrate!

Yay!

Honestly I feel like I have had so much going on I'm just thankful it looks like it'll be slowing down a bit soon enough.
    Happy Thanksgiving.

    1. Thank you! I am glad that you like your roommate. I can't imagine ending up with someone that you just can't click with. I have heard stories from one of my best friends about some of hers.

  10. I was actually born on Thanksgiving, so I always have the whole birthday-going-on-during the holiday thing! But I am most thankful for my husband, my home and our organic garden. Hope you had a great birthday!

    1. I hope you had a great birthday! I was born the day before Thanksgiving. When I was little I really didn't like the whole birthday during holiday time thing. But now that I am older it doesn't really bug me that much. Great answer! And thank you!
