Wow, it is already day 4 of Armchair BEA. Time is flying by! I have been having a lot of fun participating in this. I hope everyone else is enjoying it as much as I have been!

I have decided for the Armchair BEA giveaway I am going to give away 1 hardback copy of Cinder by Marissa Meyer.
I LOVE this book, this series. And I hope that the person that wins this will love it as much as I do.

DeleteI love this series! My favorite of the 3 is probably Cress, but that's not say much considering how much I love all 3 in the series!

DeleteI have so many favorite series! The Mortal Instruments, The Darkest Powers by Kelley Armstrong, The Fugitive Series by Melissa Pearl, and any of Tracey Ward's series!

DeleteI love the Lunar Chronicles and have been wanting a hardcover of Cinder so this is the perfect giveaway! I am currently reading Cress. I also started The Shadow and Bone trilogy and am enjoying it--on the second book at the moment.

DeleteI haven't read any of this series but loved what I've read so far of The Steampunk Chronicles by Kady Cross from Harlequin Teen and I have this series on my wl. I also entered for Cress this week.

ReplyDeleteI am LOVING that series too! I just finished Throne of Glass last week, and I got my copy of Crown of Midnight and pre-ordered Heir of Fire. I just love it! So well-written and I love the characters!

ReplyDeleteAhead of going through my routes for Team4 of the #cheerREADERS I decided to check out the giveaways tonight after the tweetchat as I think some of them are closing tonight as the event is within its final hours! I stumbled across yours, and I decided to enter because a LOT of readers & book bloggers are recommending me to read this particular book! At some point I will get to it (even if I do not win!) as it is in my local library's collection! However, winning a copy is always quite kismet too as it sort of means your meant to read a particular book that much more than before, right!? :)
My favourite book series!? I *love!* so many at the moment, as I found them over the past several years through my library:
The Mary Russell series by Laurie R. King (about Sherlock Holmes in retirement!)
Aunt Dimity series by Nancy Alterton (where a ghost presides over her niece's life!)
Coffeehouse mysteries by Cleo Coyle (who doesn't like murder mysteries & coffee?)
The Lady Emily series by Tasha Alexander (I love period dramas!)
The Pink Carnation series by Lauren Willig (I love Romances & period dramas!)
Honestly, I am always finding a 'series' to attach myself into and I love the fact I get to stay with characters a bit longer than a one-off story! Although I read a heap of stand-alones too! Quirky!? Yes! Thanks for offering the bookaway! You rock!

I agree, I like series because I get to read the characters longer, and sometimes I think I become more attached to them. Which tends to make saying goodbye (when the series is over) harder. But I do like that when I miss them, I can just reread the books!
