March 2015 Featured Blogger: Cassi From My Thoughts...Literally!

MEET CASSI!

Cassi is the blogger behind My Thoughts...Literally!

She is awesome. Cassi is one of my first blogger friends and first and only blogger that I have met in real life! (I had so much fun meeting her in person last summer!)

If you're not already following Cassi, you definitely should! She is really nice and fun to talk to! Plus she loves awesome books!

Not only can you find her blogging at My Thoughts...Literally!, you can find her on Twitter, Instagram, and Goodreads!

Thank you, Cassi for being my March Featured Blogger!

1. What does your current and/or upcoming Bookish Itinerary look like?
So I'm going to take this as meaning what is in my TBR. So on My Thoughts Literally I do themed months. So I pick a certain genre or type of book like Science Fiction or "Geek Books" and for that month I read books that fit the theme. My March theme is High Fantasy and I'm reading some books I'm really excited about because Fantasy is my favorite genre. Then April is Historical Fiction and May is always a freebie month for me. That's my chance to catch up on books that don't fit a theme.

As for my current bookish itinerary it's A Darker Shade of Magic! Everything is ADSOM at the moment. I just started reading it and oh my goodness it is so phenomenal!
2. List some of your favorite places books have already taken you.
So many of these questions have multiple meanings and I love the flexibility. Physically taken me? BEA. I'm so excited to go back. And some amazing author signings like Elizabeth Wein, Gregory Maguire, and Maggie Steifvater which we actually met at!

As far as taken me mentally and emotionally? Books have taken me to Hogwarts, Westeros, Narnia, Fillory, Imperial Russia, Victorian England, Renaissance Italy, the mythical planet of Megerathea, the moon, Red London! All the places! ALL OF THEM!
3. If you could go anywhere, (real or fictional) where would you want to go the most?
I'm going to cheat here and say one of both. Real place, Russia. I've always loved the culture and architecture there and I want to visit so badly. In terms of fictional, Hogwarts. Definitely Hogwarts! I'm sure every bookish kid desperately wanted that Hogwarts letter written in green ink!
4. If you could travel anywhere with any book character, which character would you pick and where would you go?
Seriously the only thing I can think of right now is I would go to Red London with Kell from A Darker Shade of Magic. But other than that I would want to travel with Hermione because she could bring that bag of hers and she seems really on top of organizing things which I'm bad at when it comes to travelling. And we'd probably go somewhere that's educational but still cool and maybe a little magical. Perhaps Machu Pichu which is also on my list of places to visit!
5. Which book character are you most like?
Cath Avery in Fangirl. When I read Fangirl it was like reading a book that was written about my freshman year of college, except I didn't have a Levi. Cath might be a little more shy then me but we are both socially awkward ant-social nerds and I seriously found a kindred spirit in her.

I love that you have monthly reading themes, sounds like so much fun! Russia is one of my real-life places that I would love to visit as well! I love all your answers and getting to know you better!
Thank you again, Cassi, for being my March Featured Blogger and answering my questions!
