HOW IT WORKS:
The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee's View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it'll allow us to show off more new blogs!
How does this work? First you visit the blogs of our illustrious hosts and leave your name on the post using using the linky tools, then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them "hi" in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!
What sets this Hop apart from others, is our Feature. Each week we will showcase a Featured Blogger, from all different genres and areas. Find out below. Just remember it is required, if you participate, to follow our Features and you must follow the hosts (Parajunkee & Alison Can Read) as a courtesy. How do you follow someone? Well, if you have a preference, state it in your #FF post. A lot of blogs are transitioning to Wordpress in which they do not have the luxury of GFC, so an RSS subscription is appreciated or if you choose an email subscription. If you don't have GFC please state in your post how you would like to be followed.
So you can probably imagine how excited I am to be a featured blogger this week. (VERY! I might have squeeled a bit...) I was so surprised to open my email and find out that I was picked. Thank you so much Alison and Rachel for such a fun meme and for featuring me this week!

THIS WEEKS QUESTION:
Do you read more than 1 book at a time, and if so, how, like a certain amount of pages per book before moving on to the next one in the queue? via Words I Write Crazy
MY ANSWER:
I do in fact tend to read more than 1 book at a time. I try to not have that many that I am reading at the same time, but sometimes I can't help it. I usually try to stick to 2 books. A physical book and an e-book. I personally just find it easier to read on my Kindle when I am in bed. And I enjoy reading physical books when I have some free time during the day. But sometimes I do add another book to the current reads. It just basically comes down to if I am having trouble getting into the book that I am reading. I can be a mood reader and I won't want to read either of the two I am reading, so I will add the third to mix it up.
Thanks for visiting my blog!

great response, and I'm the same way. I usually try to keep it to one book at a time, but I get a little carried away sometimes.

Thank you! I try to keep it to two books, but I tend to get carried away sometimes too. :D
DeleteThank you for stopping by and for the follow!
Me too! For some reads, I definitely have to read one book and one book only, I can't get distracted by other worlds. However, if I have a deadline for a review, I will read multiple books. Usually, one's an ebook dnt he other a physical copy.
ReplyDeleteFollower via Bloglovin', follow back?
~Fari 0:) @ My Little Corner for Books
I agree. there are some books that just pull me in and I don't move on until I am done reading it. And sometimes it can get too confusing and distracting to be reading from other worlds. But I do tend to read 2 books at the same time.

Yay, congrats on being featured!! (: I seriously feel like you're super talented because I can't read two books at the same time let alone three!
ReplyDeletePearl @ AsteriskPearl's Book Blog
Thanks, Pearl! :D
DeleteI'm a huge mood reader too, so i pretty much need to have 2 books going :]
ReplyDeleteI sometimes find it hard to stick one just one. Unless it is a book that has completely grabbed my attention. Then I will tend to finish reading it before I read any others.
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
Congrats on being the featured this week :D
ReplyDeletePersonally I'm a monogamous reader like 99.9% of the time! I read too fast to start that second or third book.

Thank you!
DeleteThat is awesome that you read so fast! I sometimes wish I read faster.
Thank you for stopping by and for the follow! :D

Congrats on the feature!! Sometimes I have a hard time getting into one book too, so I'll start something else, but I won't normally read them both at the same time. New Instagram follower! :)
ReplyDeleteHere's my F&F!
Thank you! I think that is great. I hate having a hard time getting into some books. If it isn't a review book, I would probably do the same thing. But I will keep trying to read the review book at the same time, so I get somewhere with it.
DeleteThanks for stopping by! :D
Totally awesome, congrats on being one of the featured bloggers. *g* You totally deserve all the love you and your cool little blog are getting. Hahaha, me too. I usually have more than one one book going, it's mostly a review eGalley on my Kindle and then a physical book off of my shelf that's been there for a while and I've been wanting to read. Mostly, I'm a mood reader, so sometimes if a book isn't working for me I'll put it down and pick up another one and then come back to it at some point.
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading and Hopping Through! :)
Suz @ A Soul Unsung
Awww...Thank you! <3
DeleteWe are so similar! I also try to go back to the book that I stopped reading at some point.
Thank you so much for stopping by! :D
Congrats on the feature! As for me, I can't just read one book at a time! I've very picky and also a mood reader so its hard to just read one book! Although, I'm trying to change that!

Thank you! I try really hard to keep it to just 2 books at a time.
DeleteThank you for stopping by and for following! :D
Congrats on being featured today! I have only read answers where the blogger read more than one book at a time so far, and I'm the same way, too. Now, I really should be writing a few reviews, though, as I finished two books and just went on reading more :)
ReplyDeleteHave a fantastic Friday.
Lexxie @ (un)Conventional Bookviews
Thank you!!
DeleteI have that problem too. I am trying to break it though. I tend to just go on reading without writing my reviews. Though I take quite a bit of notes and write down my initial feelings after reading the book, so it makes writing the reviews easier.
Thanks for stopping by!
I hope you have a fantastic Friday as well.
Congrats on the Featured! :) I usually have 2, sometimes 3 going. A physical book, a Kindle and maybe one on the Kindle PC app. I'm such a mood reader.
ReplyDeleteMy FF this week
Thank you! I am the same! I really like reading one ebook and one physical at the same time. But I sometimes add more books to that. I am also a mood reader.

DeleteI am not sure how to change the post link, I think the best bet would be to ask Rachel or Alison.

ReplyDeleteSilvy @Books are my life
Thanks! Before blogging I definitely only read one book at a time and wouldn't start another one until I finished, but since then I have started to read at least 2 books at the same time.
DeleteThanks for stopping by and for the follow!
I'm similar to you, where I'm always reading at least two books usually more like 3 or 4. And I definitely prefer to read e-books in bed and when I'm commuting to work but I prefer pshyical books.
ReplyDeleteHappy FF and congrats on your feature! Old follower.

I absolutely agree! I love reading ebooks in bed since they're much easier to hold. However, then can still hurt if you drop your Kindle or any other ereader on your face. :P I try to stick to two books so tat I don't mix them up, which has happened before. Old follower!
ReplyDeleteLizzie @ lizziethesarcasticblonde.blogspot.com
I bet it does still hurt. I have dropped my iPod on my face and that hurt. I bought one of those covers that has the handle thing that you can stick your hand through to hold the Kindle, it has really made it easy to hold it and read while in bed.
DeleteThat is one of the reasons I try to stick to two books too!
Thanks for stopping by! :D
Congratulations on being the featured blogger for the week!
ReplyDeleteI've followed you back via GFC and BL :D
I am a total mood reader too! Normally if a book gets too boring I would switch to another book instead. :)
Thank you!
DeleteExactly, sometimes I just can't get into the book I am reading so it is nice to have a second one to read. And sometimes I just really am in the mood to read a certain genre.
