October 21st: Top Ten New Series I Want to Start

I guess it should really be Top NEWISH series I want to start.

*All book covers are from GoodReads*

1. Something Strange and Deadly: Susan Dennard
I really need to get this series. I have heard good things about it and I am dying to read it. I think I need to put it on my birthday book list!

2. White Rabbit Chronicles: Gena Showalter
I have the first book as an e-book, but I have been waiting to read it mostly because I was waiting for book three. But that all three of these are out now and I still haven't had the chance to buy the last two. I hope that I will be able to read them next year.

3. Splintered: A.G. Howard
I have the first two books as e-books. I am really looking forward to reading this series. I have heard some good things about it.

4. Newsoul: Jodi Meadows
Another series where I only have the first book as an e-book. I really want to get the last two books of this series soon. I have been wanting to read it for a while now!

5. Across the Universe: Beth Revis
I only own the second book in this series. I found it as a bargin book over the summer and immediately put it in my basket to buy. Now I just need to get the other two!

6. The Dark Elements: Jennifer L. Armentrout
Since Stone Cold Touch came out today, I currently have both of these as e-books. I hope to read them soon. And then I can look forward to book number three!

7. The Chemical Garden: Lauren DeStephano
I actually have all three of these books. I think I should try and read them next month or maybe even December. If not then, definitely plan on binge reading them at the beginning of the new year!

8. The Darkest Minds: Alexandra Bracken
I only have the first book. But I have heard great things about this series!

9. Defiance: C.J. Redwine
I bought the first book recently, so I plan on reading it soon and I am looking forward to reading the whole series.

10. The Cahill Witch Chronicles: Jessica Spotswood
I have the first two books as hardback copies. I just need to get the third book so I can binge read the series!

Have you read these series? Do you like them? What are some series that made your list?

  2. Alice in Zombieland was a really great, not perfect or the best but I hope that will change in the next books. Actually I haven't read any of the other books but I'm looking forward to many of them after all the great things I've heard. The Darkest Minds, Wither, Dark Elements are all on my TBR. Good luck with reading all of these lovely books on your list. :)

  5. LOVE your halloween header! I was thinking about doing something like that to mine but didn't find the time. Maybe next year!

You've got some really good picks up here, most of which I haven't read either! The Something Strange & Deadly series is one I want to eventually get to too. It sounds awesome and the author is lovely. YESSS read The Chemical Garden trilogy! It is so incredibly different than anything you've ever read, I promise you that. I love Lauren!!

  7. Great choices! I really liked the White Rabbit Chronicles - not my favorite, but they are really enjoyable/entertaining books, and Cole Holland is a hot mess. :)
The Newssoul trilogy gets better with every book! It was hard for me to wrap my mind around the romance at first, but they become one of my favorite couples.
I hope you enjoy whatever you decide to read next!
