Top Ten Tuesday #52: ALL TIME Favorite Authors

Top Ten Tuesday hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Their blog can be found here.

April 21: Top Ten ALL TIME Favorite Authors (yeah, I'm mean like that! You could narrow it down to a genre if you it REALLY kills you...or just make your list a top 20 :P )

This one was REALLY HARD!!! I have SO MANY favorite authors. So I had a hard time keeping my list to just 10!
(in no particular order!)

1. Sarah J. Maas- So I really fell in love with Sarah's writing when I first read Throne of Glass last year. I decided then and there that I would read anything she writes. (I am DYING for A Court of Thorns and Roses!

2. Marissa Meyer- She is an AMAZING writer! Cinder, Scarlet, and Cress are awesome! The Lunar Chronicles is easily one of my favorite book series.

3. J.K. Rowling- Basically since Middle School, I grew up LOVING Harry Potter. So she will probably ALWAYS be one of my favorite authors!

4. Maggie Stiefvater- I have read a lot of Maggie's books, there are still a few that I need to read. But I love her writing so much, I know I want to read all the books she writes! My favorite so far has been The Raven Cycle books, which I binge read this month!

5. Brandon Sanderson- So I absolutely adored reading The Final Empire (Mistborn #1) and Steelheart (The Reckoners #1)! He is so talented! Amazing writer. And I am really looking forward to reading the other books in these two series. As well as others that he has written!

6. Meg Cabot- I have loved Meg Cabot for some time now. I fell in love with her writing several years ago when I read The Princess Diaries (Which I now really want to reread and binge the rest of the series, which I haven't read all of yet!) And I loved her Queen of Babble trilogy.

7. Heather Demetrios- Heather is a new favorite. I absolutely LOVE Something Real and I'll Meet You There! I still need to read Exquisite Captive. I love her stories so much, I know I want to read whatever else she writes!

8. Sara Raasch- Sara is also another new favorite. I REALLY LOVE Snow Like Ashes! Seriously I totally fangirled about it (still do) and I even wrote her fanmail. I definitely will read everything and anything she writes!

9. Marie Lu- Another awesome writer. I really loved reading the Legend trilogy. And I am looking forward to reading The Young Elites and other books she writes in the future!

10. Stephanie Perkins- I adore her contemporary romances. I really love the Anna and the French Kiss companion books. So I am really looking forward to whatever she may write in the future!

Some Other Favorites:

Veronica Rossi
Leigh Bardugo
Rainbow Rowell
Paula Stokes
Morgan Matson

Seriously, it was really hard to only list 10 favorite authors. Which is why I included a few other favorites.

  9. Have you read Meg Cabot's The Mediator series? I've read a few of her other books--not Princess Diaries--but I LOVE that series! I also put Sarah J. Maas on my list because her books are bae.
