I really enjoy playing this game, although I have played it mostly on our Xbox.

If you have never played before, the concept of the game is pretty self-explanatory from the title.



You use suns to buy plants, which you then plant to keep the zombies from getting into your house. The higher the level you get, the more zombies will attack. You will also unlock different types of plants to help you better defend your home.

It starts off really easy, and I think that the tutorial does a wonderful job at helping you understand what to do.

The higher level you become, the more different zombie types you will see. The one above with the cone on his head just is more difficult to kill, because the plants have to knock the cone off first. I haven't played the game in a while but I remember there also being zombies that would "run" so they moved faster. There are all kinds of zombies with different "abilities", which helps keep the game interesting.

You also have to use strategy in the game because the zombies will EAT the plants to get them out of the way, so you want the plants to kill the zombies first. And you can experiment with different plant combinations as you unlock them to create a better defense.

One of my favorite parts of the game is the last part of the level when the Final Wave of zombies attack.

If you enjoy playing video games that involve strategy but are also light and fun, then I highly recommend this game. It can get addicting the longer you play it. 

I think PopCap Games did a wonderful job creating this game. And other members in my family enjoy playing it as well including my brother and Cutie Pie. This game is rated E 10+, but I think the graphics are more fun and cute than scary, so my 7 year old isn't afraid to play this game and she finds it fun.
