2016 Reading Challenges

I LOVE participating in Reading Challenges. For 2015 I joined about 9 or 10 reading challenges and it was a lot of fun (though I did fail a few of them). I am joining some again this year and adding a few new ones that I am really excited for!

I will keep track of my progress for all of these challenges on my Challenges Page, as well as, posting what I read for each month in my Monthly Highlights posts.

I really enjoy binge reading series, so this was something I was already hoping to do in 2016. So joining this challenge will give me that extra motivation to do it! I am really excited and have already started picking out my 12 series that I want to read.

My Goal: 12 Book Series

I have a TON of backlist books on my shelves that need to be read and I decided a couple months ago that 2016 was going to be my year of trying to read more of what was already on my shelves. So I hope this will help me achieve that goal.

I think Contemporary Romance is my most read genre. I just really like the light and fluffy. The romance. The happiness. So I was VERY EXCITED when I found out about this challenge. I had already decided I wanted to read the 8 Sarah Dessen books I have on my shelf. Plus several other Contemporary Romances I've been meaning to read. This is going to be a lot of fun!

I joined this challenge for 2015 and sadly I failed. (I am too far behind to finish it this year) but I still enjoyed participating and I am determined to achieve my goal for 2016!

I LOVED doing this challenge in 2015. So I had no doubt in my mind about wanting to do it again in 2016. I am doubling my goal for 2016. I am so excited for reading more Retellings!

    1. Thank you, Claudia! My goal is 10 books so I guess I'm hoping for the Rebel badge. It would be awesome to go beyond that though. Guess we'll see.
