Top Ten Tuesday hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Their blog can be found here.
May 31st: Beach Reads Week -- top ten great beach reads, ten books I plan to read on the beach, ten beach reads for those who don't like typical ~beach reads~, ten authors who are my go-to for beach reads, etc.
I love going to the pool and swimming. And it is fun to sit on the deck and read. Most of these are books that I have been really meaning to read and I am hoping to have the chance to read all ten of them this summer!
Dumplin' by Julie Murphy
I am so excited to read this book, I have heard great things and I'm happy to finally get the chance to read it!
Twenty Boy Summer by Sarah Ockler
This was actually on my list last year, but there was a book mix up and I ended up not having a copy of it, so I ordered another copy when I got back from vacation, but decided to wait until summer time to read it.
Even in Paradise by Chelsey Philpot
I remember really wanting to read this one when it came out, but I don't remember a whole lot about it now that I have a copy. I like the cover and the title, so I am looking forward to giving it a read.
The Promise of Amazing by Robin Constantine
This book sounds cute.
Emmy & Oliver by Robin Benway
I have heard great things about this story. I was really anticipating it last year, so I am really glad I now have a copy that I can read! Yay!
The Chapel Wars by Lindsey Leavitt
This book sounds so cute, so I am really looking forward to reading it!
Never Never by Brianna Shrum
A Peter Pan retelling! I am really looking forward to reading this one!
The Fine Art of Pretending by Rachel Harris
I LOVE pretend relationships. So of course I can't wait to read this one!
Hello? by Liza M. Wiemer
I have been wanting to read this one for a while now, so I think summer will be the perfect time to finally read it. I am really looking forward to it!
Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell
This is another book I have been meaning to read, but haven't. I have heard great things about it, which makes me a bit anxious to read it!
Twenty Boy Summer is a great read! At first I was a little apprehensive, because of the synopsis, but the book is so much more than hooking up with boys! Great Top Ten! :D
