Top Ten Tuesday #15: Ten Books That I Want To Read This Summer

Top Ten Tuesday hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Their blog can be found here.

June 3rd: Top Ten Books That Should Be in Your Beach Bag or Ten Books That Will Be in My Beach Bag This Summer

I have decided that I am going to share the ten books that I want to read this summer. I do go to the beach, but I don't read when I am there. Not because I don't want to, but because I am a mom with young children, so I watch them like a hawk when I am at the beach. They get all my attention and I can't afford to be distracted.
So I save my reading for home.
But I do think reading at the beach would be fun. The beach can definitely be a relaxing place.

Beautiful to look at as well.
Not all of these books are summerish or beachish, but they are books that I want to get read this summer.

  1. To All the Boys I've Loved Before is on my list too, and I cannot wait to read it. The plot sounds cringe-worthy in the best possible way - I'd probably never leave home again if it happened to me, but I'm excited to see how the character deals with her secrets being shared. Second Change Summer is brilliant and is a great choice - I'm not much of a crier, but even I had tears in my eyes at the end. I hope you enjoy all of these books, and happy summer reading!

    1. I loved The Maze Runner, I read it in April. So intense and I couldn't put it down. I have only read the one Sarah Dessen book so far, but I loved it so much I started buying up others that I have found. I hope I get to read all of my list too!

  6. Yes to all the Sarah Dessen books! I adore her so much! And To All The Boys I've Loved Before is a perfect read for summer. I really need to read Dark Triumph. I read Grave Mercy and thought it was so different from anything else I have ever read and really wanted more. Why must life get in the way of reading?

    1. Yay! I became hooked after reading my first Sarah Dessen book in March. I can't believe I hadn't read any of her books before that! I think you have made me even more excited to read Grave Mercy (if that is possible).
And I definitely agree, my life gets in the way of reading a lot too. Like this week, I haven't been feeling well, so not much reading or blogging done.
