Top Ten of 2015: Best 2015 Released Books I Read This Year

Top Ten of 2015 is co-hosted by Jaime from Two Chicks On Books, Rachel from Fiktshun, Mindy from Magical Urban Fantasy Reads, and Nancy from Tales of a Ravenous Reader.

I had so much fun participating last year for the Top Ten of 2014, so I am very excited to be participating again this year!

Monday, December 21st – Best Books I’ve Read in 2015 (Doesn’t have to be released in 2015, just a book you’ve read in 2015)
I can't believe 2015 is almost over! I have read 119 books so far this year, so it is going to be pretty hard to keep this list to only 10 books. I have read a lot of books that I ended up loving. So I have decided to keep this list to Best Books I've Read in 2015 That Were Released This Year.

*In no particular order*

1. Queen of Shadows (Throne of Glass #4) by Sarah J. Maas
Throne of Glass is one of my FAVORITE SERIES, and I feel like each book gets more and more amazing. I love the world and the characters. This was one of my most anticipated books of the year and it did not disappoint. I was blown away and had a huge bookish hangover when I finished.

2. Winter (The Lunar Chronicles #4) by Marissa Meyer
The Lunar Chronicles is another FAVORITE SERIES. I can't believe the series is over. The conclusion really gave me a lot of FEELINGS. It was spectacular. It was beautifully written. Heart-pounding. Twists I didn't see coming. Just completely awesome. I love characters so much. And even though I am sad the series is over, at least I have Stars Above to look forward to. (Book of novellas!)

3. A Darker Shade of Magic (A Darker Shade of Magic #1) by V.E. Schwab
Okay, I am going to be honest here. I was dying to read this one, so much hype. And I read Vicious and LOVED it. But I was also a bit hesitant because I was worried I wouldn't love it as much as everyone else. But when I saw it at the library I didn't hesitate to check it out. And I LOVED it! I definitely agree with all the hype, IT IS AMAZING!

4. Wolf by Wolf (Wolf by Wolf #1) by Ryan Graudin
Wow. I loved this book very much. Beautifully written and so interesting. I couldn't put it down. It was heart-pounding and so full of emotions. I can't wait to find out what happens next!

5. Vengeance Road by Erin Bowman
I was hesitant to read Vengeance Road because I hadn't really read any Westerns before. But I absolutely LOVED this book. It is awesome. So much adventure and there is quite a bit of action. The characters are great (love them)! So glad I had the chance to read it!

I was so excited to read an e-galley of this book. I think it is an AMAZING debut. I loved it. So interesting and fast-paced. I couldn't put it down. And I can't wait to find out what is going to happen in the next book!

I couldn't wait to read this one. I already love Sarah J. Maas, so I knew it was a must read for me. But I ended up almost not reading it this year. I kept putting it off because I didn't want to have to wait so long for the next one. But I couldn't wait any longer. I LOVED it.

8. I'll Meet You There by Heather Demetrios
I love Heather Demetrios' books. She is definitely a must read author for me. So of course I pre-ordered I'll Meet You There and pretty much started to read it not long after it arrived. It is a beautifully-written story. It is so easy to love and care about the characters. I couldn't put it down.

9. Liars, Inc. by Paula Stokes
I LOVED this book! I really liked the characters. And the plot was so interesting. There were a lot of twists and surprises. Definitely a must-read if you like thrillers with mystery. I love Paula's writing. She is another must read author for me.

10. Every Last Word by Tamara Ireland Stone
This book is so powerful and moving. Full of emotion. And so well-written. It really blew me away. I loved it!

  2. It's sad to say that the only one I've read from your list is ACOTAR (which is in my list too). I do have a few of these, I'm especially looking forward to Wolf by Wolf :)
