I can't believe it is already 2017! Last year I didn't fully participate in the reading challenges as much as I wanted to. (In fact, I didn't blog as much as I wanted to either.) So I have decided to only participate in a couple official 2017 reading challenges and instead focus more on reading books that I already have on my shelves. In fact, I have decided to make a list of 17 Books I Will Finally Read in 2017!

My Goal:
12 Books
This will be my third year participating in the Debut Author Challenge. Last year I didn't end up meeting my goal of 12 books, I ended with only 9. Even though I have several more debut author books I bought and meant to read from 2016. I will definitely still read them, I am just a little bummed that I didn't get to read them all in 2016. I am looking forward to trying this challenge again this year!

My Goal:
20 Fantasy Books
This is another challenge that I will be participating in for the third year. I didn't meet my goal the first year, but I did meet my goal last year. Which is why I bumped my goal up to 20 books this year. I am really excited to see how many fantasy books I read in 2017! I love this challenge!

My Goal:
75 Books
This is my second year participating in this challenge. I am really looking forward to participating more with this challenge this year. One of my own personal challenges for 2017 is to read more books from my bookshelves, so this goes perfectly with what I want to do. Which is why I have decided to bump my goal up to 75 books this year. (Last year my goal was 40.)
I am really excited for all of these 2017 Reading Challenges. I hope that I will keep up with participating in them for the entire year.
Are you participating in any challenges for 2017? If so, which ones are you signed/signing up for?
I'm still considering which challenges that are feasible for me to accomplish. I tried to do a few last year, but as soon as March came along, it was thrown to the wayside. I like so many, but not sure I can always keep up.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way. I participated in so many last year and ended up not reaching my goals on a few of them. I also am bad at starting strong, participating and sharing my reviews, linking up, etc. Then midway through I forget to keep doing that stuff. I hope I will do a better job participating this year since I am only doing a few. Good luck on any challenges you do decide to join this year! :D
