April 15th: Top Ten Bookish Things (That Aren't Books) That I'd Like to Own
1. More (and bigger) Bookshelves: I have so many books and not enough bookshelf space for them. So one day when I get a bigger house (and my own personal library...) I will get some bigger bookcases.
2. Bookish Pins: I love pins. I have a small collection, and I would love to have more that are from favorite books.
3. Bookish Tote Bags: I LOVE Tote Bags. I have several. And I would love to have some inspired by favorite books.
4. Bookmarks: I would just love some more to add to my collection. Bookmarks are so pretty and I love all the ones I have that have been signed by awesome authors!
5. Bookish Jewelry: I would love to have charms based off of my favorite books for a bookish charm bracelet. I think I would love that THE MOST. This is what I REALLY want. I think I would be over the moon, if I had a charm bracelet that had charms inspired from all my favorite books.
6. Bookish Patches: Patches that have favorite quotes from different books, or sayings. Book covers. So I can put them on bags or something. I really like patches.
7. A Bookish Quilt: I would love to have a quilt that is made up of squares/rectangles that are pictures of my favorite book covers. That would simply be amazing.
8. Bookish Posters: Posters of my favorite book covers. Would be fantastic.
9. Bookish Games: There are some games in the books that we read that I think would be a lot of fun to play in real life. So I wish they make the games so we could buy them and play them. It would also be cool to have games based off favorite books, even if it is trivia games. Imagine: Trivial Pursuit YA edition. Or Dystopian Edition. Sci-Fi Edition. Etc.
10. Book Quote Art or Posters: There are so many quotes from books that I really LOVE. And it would be awesome to have those hanging up in my house. Just to make me smile or help inspire/motivate me on a bad day. (I think I need to look into making myself some...)
What do you think? What are some bookish things you would love to own. Is there one thing that you would want the most?
After looking over my list, I definitely think the one thing I would want the most is my bookish charm bracelet. :D

I think more book space seems to be a common theme this week. I definitely need more book space. I'd love my own personal library! :-)
ReplyDeleteYeah, I think book lovers will always need more space for their books. :D Thanks!
DeleteA bookworm can never a too big book shelf ;)
ReplyDeletemy top ten tuesday http://wp.me/p3v5T1-o6
This is definitely true! Thanks for stopping by! :D
DeleteA book based charm bracelet! I had the exact same thought this weekend when I went to the book fair; I kind of started hoping that I would find a booth selling something like that. Sadly I didn't see any.
ReplyDeleteAwe, that makes me sad too!
DeleteGreat list! Yes, yes, yes to more bookshelves. Book bloggers can never have enough bookshelves, we all need rooms and rooms of just bookcases and nothing else. I want more bookish games to, I am desperate for Harry Potter Monopoly, I would play that all the time ;) Here's my TTT.
ReplyDeleteThank you! And I totally agree. I would love to play Harry Potter Monopoly. That would be so much fun! :D
DeleteI just recently got a bookish pin and a bookish tote bag. I never cared much for either, but I could totally get used to this :D
ReplyDeleteI love bookmarks though, I have about a million, and I still take as many as I can to bring home, even if I only use 2. :D
Quilt sounds good! And posters, ditto on that. I need those! Oh and bookish games, that reminds me of ASoIaF board game I saw at Waterstones. WANT. :D
Great picks all!
Happy reading!
Thank you! I used to collect bookmarks as a child but stopped, and it wasn't until recently I started up again. I love the bookmarks from authors promoting their books, they are so pretty!
DeleteHappy reading to you too! :D
Awesome list! The book quote art seems like a great idea. I love the typography of book quotes on the internet, it would be awesome to have them in poster form, or even on t-shirts or something rad like that.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I love quotes too. In college I took lines from some songs that I love and wrote them on a tote bag. And I used to write quotes on index cards and hang them around my room.
