Game of Thrones meets the Grimm's fairy tales in this twisted, fast-paced romantic fantasy-adventure about Sleeping Beauty's daughter, a warrior princess who must fight to reclaim her throne.
Though she looks like a mere mortal, Princess Aurora is a fairy blessed with enhanced strength, bravery, and mercy yet cursed to destroy the free will of any male who kisses her. Disguised as a boy, she enlists the help of the handsome but also cursed Prince Niklaas to fight legions of evil and free her brother from the ogre queen who stole Aurora's throne ten years ago.

Will Aurora triumph over evil and reach her brother before it's too late? Can Aurora and Niklaas break the curses that will otherwise forever keep them from finding their one true love? (From GoodReads)

Why Am I Excited For This Book?

I love fairy tale retellings! And the summary just sounds amazing! A fairy tale retelling as a romantic fantasy adventure! Featuring Sleeping Beauty! I just can't wait! I have been excited for this book for several months now, and I am really anxious for the chance to finally get to read it!

What are you waiting on this Wednesday? Are you looking forward to reading Princess of Thorns too?

  1. I can't wait to check this one out! I love fairy tale retellings too. What I love about this one is it's not the basic fairy tale princess trope. I'm totally on board for a badass warrior Sleeping Beauty. Great choice!

    1. I'm not in love with the cover either. I do like the lettering on the cover though! But all in all, I am not blown away or fangirling over it as I have with other covers. Thanks!
